Go Cougars!

Our favorite family tradition is going to all the BYU home football games. Seriously, we look forward to the first game since the last game of the previous season. My family always drives down and we tailgate before. Right after tailgating we always head into the stadium. We like to get there early enough to see the team practicing before, but that doesn't always happen. It was so fun to have Brent join us this year at all the games. What a great memory we'll have of going to the BYU Football games together. Here are some of the pictures from the season.

After every touchdown, all the boys would lift the twins up for each point that we scored. It was so funny...well until the security people told us to stop. haha

Twinner bees got all their teeth pulled!

This game was so cold but so much fun! We brought Brent's nephews with us. They were troopers.

Brent's Golden Birthday

Okay, so this may be a month late, but I still wanted to give a little shout out to my amazing husband and share his birthday celebration! We had such a fun day (besides Brent's 4 hour test he he had to take). Beware: I come from a family where everything we do is centered around fun foods, and Brent comes from a family where food is the focus. So bring us together, and here ya go: FOOD! haha Here are a few pictures from Brent's 24th birthday.
So I had it all planned to be all cute and wake up bright and early and make Brent breakfast in bed. I set my alarm and woke up only to find Brent already up at the kitchen table studying. So that kind of ruined the breakfast in bed, but I still made him one of his favorite breakfasts. I made delicious whole wheat pancakes with homemade caramel sauce and whipped cream with bananas. Seriously, they were delicious.

Brent's absolute favorite place to eat is Cafe Rio. I think his dream is to bring Cafe Rio back to Florida or to Texas. So we had to go there for lunch.

Growing up, Brent would always go to a place similar to Tepanyaki for his birthday dinner, so we couldn't break that tradition. I haven't been to Tepanyaki for a very long time so we decided to treat ourselves. It was delicious and so much fun!

I got the ingredients to make homemade vanilla ice cream with strawberries and sprinkles (Bren't favorite dessert), but we were way too full on his birthday so this was our Sunday treat :)

Brent's favorite thing are pictures of temples or Christ or any church scene. So I thought this was the perfect simple gift for him.

We had such a fun birthday celebration. I am so grateful to have such an incredible husband. He is always serving me and making me so happy. I don't know how I got so lucky. Brent is so perfect for me. I love him so much!!

T&V Wedding

A little late for posting this, but my brother got married!!! Our plan for that special day was to sleep in, make a fun breakfast, and casually make our way to the temple around 2. But, we're the Jergensen family. We should've known things wouldn't go that smooth. My parents were up at the crack of dawn to take Zac to the hospital. You see, the night before the wedding, Brent and Zac were playing at their intramural flag football game when an elbow hit Zac in the mouth. It knocked his front teeth back and completely tore open his lip. So late Thursday night, Brent drove Zac up to Logan, and first thing Friday morning he was getting stitched up. So perfect for all the pictures! We all know Zac just wanted a little attention that day and to stand out in the pictures! Right before we had to be at the temple we were frantically setting up for the reception. Buying fish for the tables (yes, real fish, which now were distributed to each family member, so we are the proud owners of a beautiful beta fish), running to Sam's club to get last minute items, and rushing home to shower and get ready. Needless to say, the day turned out fabulous. The temple was such a neat experience to witness another sealing. The reception was beautiful! My mom and Madison did basically the entire thing and it was so well done. They should be wedding planners!

Everything was wonderful! We are so happy for Tyson and Victoria. They are a perfect match and we're so glad to have another member of our family!

Wedding Formals

My mom is such an incredible photographer. She took our formals. Special thanks to my dad as lighting specialist, my sister, Madi, as hair dresser, and my sister in law, Victoria, as makeup specialist. They all made it such a blast! Here are a bunch of our favorites!
