T&V Wedding

A little late for posting this, but my brother got married!!! Our plan for that special day was to sleep in, make a fun breakfast, and casually make our way to the temple around 2. But, we're the Jergensen family. We should've known things wouldn't go that smooth. My parents were up at the crack of dawn to take Zac to the hospital. You see, the night before the wedding, Brent and Zac were playing at their intramural flag football game when an elbow hit Zac in the mouth. It knocked his front teeth back and completely tore open his lip. So late Thursday night, Brent drove Zac up to Logan, and first thing Friday morning he was getting stitched up. So perfect for all the pictures! We all know Zac just wanted a little attention that day and to stand out in the pictures! Right before we had to be at the temple we were frantically setting up for the reception. Buying fish for the tables (yes, real fish, which now were distributed to each family member, so we are the proud owners of a beautiful beta fish), running to Sam's club to get last minute items, and rushing home to shower and get ready. Needless to say, the day turned out fabulous. The temple was such a neat experience to witness another sealing. The reception was beautiful! My mom and Madison did basically the entire thing and it was so well done. They should be wedding planners!

Everything was wonderful! We are so happy for Tyson and Victoria. They are a perfect match and we're so glad to have another member of our family!

Engagement Pictures

I know this is in reverse order, but I wanted to post our amazing engagement pictures that Brent's sister, Brooke, took of us while we were in Florida. She did such a great job!! You can view her website here.

Wedding Formals

My mom is such an incredible photographer. She took our formals. Special thanks to my dad as lighting specialist, my sister, Madi, as hair dresser, and my sister in law, Victoria, as makeup specialist. They all made it such a blast! Here are a bunch of our favorites!

HONEYMOON

I’m trying to catch up on all the things we have been up to, and I wanted to write on here last week, but things have been so crazy. Taking 17 credits in all senior classes is already killing me, especially when tests all fall on the same days. But, needless to say, I survived! Here is the honeymoon update:

After we were married we drove down to Park City to spend a few days before we flew to Florida for the open house. It was seriously the best honeymoon ever! The prices for all the yummy restaurants were half off because it was summer, the weather was absolutely perfect, and it was not crowded at all because school was already back in session. Here are some of the fun things we did…

We rode the Gondola up to a lodge and ate up on the mountain. It was so pretty! Next time we go, we want to bring mountain bikes up and ride the lifts to the top and ride the bikes down. We were so jealous of all the people doing that. It looked so fun!

Walking around Main Street at night was one of our favorite things to do.

We went to the Olympic Park and watched the athletes train. We also rode the zip line down. Super fun!

We went to the Park City Mountain Resort and rode all the rides there. It was awesome because, like I said, school was in session, so there were no lines for anything. We rode all the rides several times. :)

Sometimes I wonder if I married a child! ha Brent was in line to do this along with all the other 4-year-olds.

We rode the lift to the top and just walked around the top of the mountain. The view was gorgeous!

This is the sushi restaurant we went to and it was delicious!

I didn't take many pictures of our open house or the trip to Florida, but it was such a blast. It was so relaxing. Brent lives on a lake, so every night we would just relax on the dock. It was so fun to have my parents and younger siblings there as well as some of Brent's family. What an awesome honeymoon and vacation to Florida!
