Baby Bump Updates

I have been pretty terrible about keeping a journal or anything about this pregnancy. So, now that I'm 9 months pregnant, I am going to write a few things and show a few baby bump pictures along the way so I can remember this special time in my life. Pregnancy is such an amazing and incredible and hard time. It's been amazing to feel this baby move inside of me and watch my belly grow from week to week. At the same time, it's been a hard experience, mainly because I have been so sick. The last 8 weeks have been so great though. Once I finally got over being sick all day every day I could enjoy the fun little moments of pregnancy. I have felt so great these last few weeks. I still have energy and haven't felt too uncomfortable yet. A few things I am so excited for about not being pregnant: SUSHI (I crave this everyday), sleeping on my stomach (although I have been able to sleep SO WELL this whole pregnancy), walking up a flight of stairs without having to catch my breath at the top, running, and mostly holding my baby in my arms, seeing her personality, and watching her grow. I cannot wait to meet this little girl who we love already!

Anniversary #2

Anniversary #2 was a success. Unfortunately it was right in the middle of Brent's busy season, working around 60 hours a week so we only had time to celebrate with a fancy dinner! We wanted to try somewhere new and there is a Del Frisco's Grille close to us that has great reviews. So we tried it and boy was it delicious! Definitely a repeat restaurant! They were so cute to us and gave us an anniversary card and a slice of lemon cake, which was to die for! I can't believe we've been married two years. It has gone by so fast! It has been an amazing two years. I wouldn't change a thing. And now we are on to a whole new adventure called parenthood!

This was the only thing I took a picture of (probably because I got too carried away in eating the rest). This was our appetizer. I don't even remember what exactly it was, but it was delicious!

Lake House

One thing we really miss about Utah and Florida are all of our boating and lake adventures! Ohhh, I miss boating with the family so bad! So when one of Brent's buddies invited us to their lake house in North Houston, we couldn't say no. It was so much fun to be around the water again. We had a day full of jet skiing, paddle boarding, boat rides, and good food!

4th of July in Houston

We moved to Houston just in time for the 4th of July and wanted to do something fun and relaxing. We, of course, had to do a traditional American BBQ out by the pool with hamburgers and grilled corn. That night we went to Brent's work building and watched the fireworks from the 42nd floor with some of our friends from BYU who happen to be living here too. It was way fun and a new perspective on fireworks. They were going off right at our eye level. So cool!!
